The agreement you need, with a council behind it.
Answer a short questionnaire about your agreement. We assemble it from clauses engineered for your contract type, draft the parts that are yours alone, and review the result with the same independent council that reviews the contracts you upload.

How it works
01
Tell us about your agreement
A short guided questionnaire collects the parties, the governing law, and the terms that matter. It takes a few minutes, and you review every answer before anything is drafted.02
We draft it
Your agreement is assembled from clauses engineered for its contract type, and the parts that are yours alone are drafted around your answers. The result is a professionally typeset instrument, ready to sign.03
The council reads it before you do
Our independent analysis council reviews the finished draft the same way it reviews the contracts you upload. If the council cannot certify the draft, nothing is delivered and your credit is returned.
02
Reviewed like a contract you would upload.
Most services stop at a filled template. Every agreement we create runs through the same adversarial review we sell for contracts you upload, before it reaches you. You receive a finished Word document and a PDF, delivered in the app and by email, and you can read the document in the app the moment it is ready.

What you can create today
01
Non-disclosure agreement
Mutual or one way. Your purpose, your exclusions, your term, on your state's law.02
Software subscription agreement
Uptime, renewal, data export, and fees. The terms that decide what happens when the service goes down, or when the term runs out.03
Employment agreement
Position, duties, and compensation, written so both sides can point to the same sentence later.04
Residential lease
Draft a lease for a home or apartment that protects both landlord and tenant, with a compliant security-deposit return, a stated habitability duty, and lawful entry and remedies.05
Freelance services agreement
Draft an independent-contractor agreement for freelance work that keeps you protected on both sides: proper contractor status, ownership that follows payment with a portfolio right, an objective acceptance standard, and a kill fee on early termination.06
Commercial lease
Draft a lease for business space that protects both sides: no personal guaranty, an operating-expense pass-through capped at a modest annual increase, the landlord keeping the structure and building systems, and mutual indemnity backed by mutual insurance.07
Secured business loan
Draft a loan and security agreement backed by named collateral, at a rate fixed for the whole term, with free prepayment, ordinary covenants, no personal guarantee, and no cross-default.08
Settlement agreement
Draft a settlement whose release is scoped to the actual dispute rather than to every claim you might ever have, with confidentiality carve-outs for a subpoena, an attorney and a tax preparer, no non-compete or non-solicit bought with settlement money, no setoff against the amount, and acceleration of the whole balance if an installment is missed.09
Severance agreement
Draft a separation agreement whose release actually holds: non-waivable claims carved out in terms, the right to file with the EEOC or any other agency preserved, the trade secret immunity notice included, twenty-one days to consider and seven to revoke, and no new non-compete.10
Home improvement contract
Draft a remodel contract with a deposit capped at ten percent, a three business day right to cancel, retainage released on a date the contractor can actually reach, change orders priced and signed before the work starts, and no liquidated damages on either side.11
Subcontractor agreement
Draft a trade subcontract that refuses pay-if-paid outright and pays within sixty days whether or not the owner has paid, releases retainage when your work is accepted rather than when the project ends, waives no lien for money you have not received, and never passes the project liquidated damages down to you.12
LLC operating agreement
Draft a two-member operating agreement with real limited liability, a deadlock breaker priced by independent appraisal rather than a shotgun, a voluntary withdrawal path, and tag-along protection with no forced sale.13
All-assets business loan
Draft a loan secured by every asset category, drafted so the lien stays workable: the security interest secures this loan alone, you keep selling inventory and collecting invoices in the ordinary course without consent, you may still grant a purchase-money lien to finance equipment, there is no lockbox before an uncured default, the accounts receivable are released once half the principal is repaid, and the filing is terminated of record when the loan is paid. No personal guarantee, no cross-default, and a rate fixed for the whole term.
More agreement types are on the way. Every new type must meet the same review bar before it ships.
04
What we deliberately do not draft
Some instruments belong with an attorney from the first word. Wills, family law agreements, insurance policies, and loan documents are examples we analyze but do not draft. When your document is one of these, our analysis product will still read it with you before you sign.

One scan credit per contract
A finished agreement costs one scan credit, the same credit you use for an analysis. $4.99 for one, less in packs. No subscription.
- What do I receive?
- A finished Word document and a PDF, delivered in the app and by email. You can read the document in the app the moment it is ready.
- Do I need a subscription?
- No. A contract uses one scan credit from the same pack you use for analysis. $4.99 for one scan, $19.99 for five, $34.99 for ten.
- What happens if the review does not pass?
- Nothing is delivered. Your credit is returned and you can try again. We would rather return a credit than deliver a document our council cannot certify.
- Is this legal advice?
- No. BeforeJD is not a law firm and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. For a matter with significant value or risk, have an attorney review your agreement before you sign.
